I was hired to make the marketing material for Soolo ry 25-year anniversary concert.
Overview
Soolo ry is an opera and music theatre group dedicated to promoting music theatre in all its forms - from entertainment concerts to classical performances. They commissioned a poster in multiple sizes for their 25th anniversary concert, with a brief calling for a fun and cheerful illustration with a clear colour scheme. Specifically, they wanted imagery themed around concerts, backstage bustle, and scattered costumes - with a grand piano and a violet or turquoise palette as possible directions.
The poster needed to work across several formats: a print version, a Facebook post, a ticketing platform image, and ticket size. Since the brief was refreshingly clear, I landed on four illustrations featuring a grand piano draped in all sorts of costume pieces - leaning into that fun and cheerful energy.
After a smooth and pleasantly swift creative process, the client was absolutely delighted with the final marketing materials.
