Children's book Illustration made during a course in Aalto University.
Overview
The task was to create an illustration for a children's book. The novel this picture is based on is Tyllihame by Tove Jansson. Since the story was kinda scary I thought it was a cool twist to make the illustration really colorful and childlike.
Process
My process was a bit different than usually. I did all the drawings with pencil on paper and later I combined them in photoshop and added the bright background.
I'm really pleased about how the project came to look. It has been interesting to try a new kind of method for working and I'm really happy with the result.
